Our Story

iAM a Lifestyle Photojournalist based out of Denver,CO. via Baltimore, MD. I have spent a lifetime of capturing  memories on film and 7 years ago I decided to document the journey of indie & underground artists on their journey in being heard. My work has been featured on OXYGEN’s reality tv series “Running Russell Simmons,” in Baltimore’s CityPaper, The Examiner, The Baltimore Sun, Flywire Magazine, Baltimore Magazine, eXcape the Matrix Magazine, NY, NY Fetish Magazine, Style 101 Magazine, and I’m very proud to be recognized & crowned Photographer of the Year in 2008 by “The Baltimore Scene”.  

Who am I?  iAM Visual Expression. My passion and voice are grounded in the Grassroots of Self Exppressive Art & Hip Hop. Whether the canvas is Spoken Word, Painting, Theater, or Hip Hop, the message the artist shares is why I am there.  Now to begin the next leg of my journey as an artist myself continuing to express the duality of Art & Life: iAM Visual Expression, with the opportunity to photograph the Japan tour of Bop Alloy.

The Impact

I found my voice photographing artists. I want to share with the world what I see in them, their greatness, their message, their gift of expression, living off of their art. Spreading positive messages through the vehicle of ART. This tour will not only be a first of its kind for Japan, but it will allow my work to be featured THROUGHOUT international Netherlands based magazineThe Find Magazine dedicated to covering the entire tour.

What We Need & What You Get

SO here’s where you come in. I need $3500 to cover passport renewal, travel expenses (air, hotel, train fares). Any funds above my goal will go toward a 2012 Photography exhibit fundraiser for another International iAM series tour. 

IF we dont reach the goal, a portion proceeds will go toward an exhibit displaying my collection of Artists I’ve photographed on the east coast IF the entire goal is not met.
